Authorization Code Incorrect for a transfer from GoDaddy
What do you do when the EPP Code/ Authorization code in GoDaddy is incorrect.
We have been trying to transfer a domain away from GoDaddy but the gaining registrar's support team have confirmed that the EPP supplied by GoDaddy is incorrect and not what Afilias has in their systems.
There is nowhere to reset the EPP, GoDaddy tech support on the phone said there is nothing they can do.
Hi @nulledfire. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! There are some occasions when the authorization code we have for a domain can't be accepted by a receiving registrar. Usually, it happens if the code uses a special character that the new registrar can't accept. In this case, you can reach out to our support team and they can issue a new authorization code. Sorry if you weren't advised of this before. For the time being, you can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with the PIN for your account to request this if you can't call for some reason.
