I began the transfer request within my Godaddy account several days ago. I then learned that the email address the registrar has on file was an inactive address. I got my client to find that address in their system and reactivate it, and then try to review emails that were waiting in their inbox.
They also checked spam.
It is still within the 7 to 10 day period, but should I worry we didn't deal with the email issue soon enough.
Do I wait? Or take some other action?

Our system records show that the domain you have noted is on its way. You should see it in your account with us in 24 to 72 hours. The Registry now has control of the domain and you need take no further action to bring it into the account.
