FTP User Access Denied

I created a new FTP user and created a new folder just for this new user.

The new user only has permissions for this folder and no others.

Using the privacy feature, I password protected this folder using the new FTP user and password.

Why am I unable to login to this folder with this new user and password? I have tried three different FTP clients.

@Yooper  Hi there, first of all, your user name is what caught my attention. I'm a Yooper myself and live in Marquette. Anyway, Did you have a new ftp user and allow them only access to one folder and then password protect the folder? It seems like that may be your issue but someone else may be able to help you further.
