Adding nameserver problem: "Nameserver not available"

SO I want to add another nameserver for my domain, one that is not in the domain.  I currently use ns1 and ns2 at bradakis.com.  I want to add autox.team.net, but trying to do so results in a "Nameserver not available" error message.  Why is this happening?

autox.team.net is not a valid nameserver. There does appear to be a website there, but there isn’t a name server.... and team.net is using ns1.systemdns.com
