    Can an MX record point a subdomain to one server and the main domain to another?

    I have MX records now using @ pointing to a Google gsuite account. I want to have a wildcard subdomain MX record to point to another. It is my understnading that Godaddy appends your domain to the end of these records automatically.

     

    Can I use * in the MX record which will then allow me to point emails with a subdomain to another server?

    @cbielich 

    you "should" be able to I know I've done this with A records - I've never tried it with MX records
