Domain redirect and subdomain redirect (forwarding) stopped working.

Hi everyone,

I'm seeing more often than not the whole domain re-directs and sub-domain re-directs not working for few hours, some times 5 hours at a time. Support of course deflects this right away.

To be clear this is setup under the domain "advance settings" and the section is called forwarding. I have several domains and sub-domains setup that way. When it breaks ALL of them break, then when I notice that the issue is fixed then ALL of them start working again so this is most definitively a Go Daddy issue but how do I convince them? I am considering doing a monkey forwarding via my own web server and CNAME because this feature is down so often it is hard to justify using Go Daddy for the forwarding piece any longer.

I think you'll have to call in for this one. Something wonky is going on with your DNS. GoDaddy Support has the tools that should be able to suss out the issue. I suggest giving them a call. Links are in the top right.
