I was fiddling around with my domain settings, trying to figure out how I could host multiple websites since I bought the Deluxe package, and I though to delete the domain to sort of reset it so I could add it back on later with factory default settings, so inside of DNS Management I clicked Remove DNS Hosting. but instead of removing the domain altogether, it deleted all the DNS records. Is there a way to fix this?
Re: How do I reset the DNS settings for my domain?
Hi @EvShrader. Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! It sounds like the domain in question is not registered with GoDaddy. I'd suggest removing the domain from the hosting plan you have it on, then adding it again. That should cause the system to create another zone file (where your DNS is stored) and allow you to make changes again. If not, then I'd recommend getting in touch with our customer care team so they can help.
