New domain or redirect?

I have long domain name example: mybesthomefood.com with 3000 daily users. If i want do redesign my website and sell ony cookies what is best solution.

 

Redirect domain with allready traffic to new domain with no traffic and good keyword example: cookies.com or sell cookies on old domain with allready traffic?


ps. domain names are just examples.

I would suggest a new domain and make sure it's featured on your site already getting traffic. It seems like it might be of similar interest to the customers/visitors you already have, so the SEO (if all set up correctly) would likely increase on the new domain rather fast.

 

Redirects can be problematic for SEO building, but there are ways to do that as well. It kind of depends on the amount of work you want to put into it and your personal preference.
