The title pretty much says it all, there doesn't seem to be anything on google I can find to tell me how to do this? My client has bought a domain with GoDaddy, and needs to point it at a website hosted on my GoDaddy account, how can we do this? I'm on the classic hosting package.
Thanks in advance

If the domain and hosting are in different accounts you'll need to manually point the domain, which simply means find the IP address for your hosting and update an A record.

Thanks for the prompt reply, that all looks good. How would I now go about pointing the domain at a certain directory, e.g. 126.96.36.199/website?
The steps above are to add the hosting to the domain name, but the domain name would also need to be added to the hosting (domain set to send traffic to hosting + hosting set to receive traffic from domain).
The Primary domain uses the root directory, but add-on or secondary domains can be associated with a sub-directory. Here is more information on adding domains and selecting their folder.
