Are there anyways for godaddy to act as a DNS hosting service and no just forward for my domain? For example, when someone visits xyz.com, they see 555.555.555.555. If I try and lookup xyz.com, ie nslookup xyz.com, it doesn't return my ip address. So, if I try to connect to my server with ssh using xyz.com, I cannot.
Is it possible to have godaddy act as a DNS host in this respect? I believe 1and1 did this for me in the past with my domains; I've since used noip.com, but wanted to have my own domain. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
