Emails being delayed at relay server or our VPS

We recently move one of our client's VPS to godaddy (8 GB, CPanel, CentOS). The website we are using the VPS for, sends out OTPs and passwords.

Every email is being delayed at godaddy relay servers ( and alternatives) for over 1 minute, as analyzed by mail headers. I have tried speaking to multiple support executives, however they are busy making excuses, rather than supporting.

Community support is our last resort, before we move out of Godaddy as we are loosing our credibility. Waiting for over a minute for every single transaction is frustrating, more so when previous server used to deliver emails in a fraction of second.

The SPF settings are perfect, MX server is set up properly, EXIM settings are correct and since last 23 days, we have tried everything we could do to get the issue resolved.

Following is a email header example:

Following is the code being used (worked perfectly with previous provider) :

function sendpmail($smto, $smsub, $smbody, $smfrom,$frmpwd)
require_once 'PHPMailer/PHPMailerAutoload.php';
$mail = new PHPMailer;
$mail->isSMTP();                                      // Set mailer to use SMTP
$mail->Host = 'mail.<domianName>.net';  // Specify main and backup SMTP servers
$mail->SMTPAuth = true;                               // Enable SMTP authentication
$mail->Username = $smfrom;                 // SMTP username
$mail->Password = $frmpwd;                           // SMTP password
$mail->SMTPSecure = 'ssl';                            // Enable TLS encryption, `ssl` also accepted
$mail->Port = 465;                                    // TCP port to connect to
$mail->setFrom($smfrom, '<domianName>');
$mail->addAddress($smto);               // Name is optional
$mail->addReplyTo($smfrom, 'Support');
$mail->isHTML(true);                                  // Set email format to HTML

$mail->Subject = $smsub;
$mail->Body    = $smbody;
if(!$mail->send()) {
    return 'Mailer Error: ' . $mail->ErrorInfo;
} else {
    return 'Message has been sent';

Any support / suggestion would be appreciated.
