email send limit

I tried to send an email via GoDaddy to 122 recipients.  It did not send, saying to reduce the list of addresses to under 100.  What is the reason for such a limit?

If you are on the WorkSpace email and need this sort of flexibility I would say yes. The GoDaddy email platform does work for the majority of people on it.

From all the emails I've checked it seems there is a limit of 500 per day

This is fairly standard - If you have a list of more than 20 people (in my opinion) you really should be using a blast email system or something that can forward the email to a distribution list.

Most mail servers can handle the volume of mail without issue, but are not designed / intended to do large emails like that.

Additionally you need to be careful not to CC or TO all those addresses as otherwise you are exposing all the emails to everyone else.

My gmail account allowed me to send to all 122 addresses with no issues. So
is the answer to not use GoDaddy then?
