Number of Processes Jumped

Please Help with a problem we are having since June 12th. Before that day, the number of processes in our hosting were in average 3 to 6. The next day we saw a jump to 39 - 43! We don't use WordPress and we didn't make any changes on that day. We think is a bad configuration of Lite Speed. In the CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage tool of cpanel we can see in the snapshot link that this command (/usr/sbin/httpd -k start) was executed that day. We are on a shared hosting... so we can't run this type of commands. After that, the lsphp processes jumped. Can some one please explain why this happened and how can we or godaddy fix it. Thks in advance.
