Change my two-step verification phone number

To change your two-step verification phone number, you need to delete the existing phone number from your account, and then add the new number.

Required: If you don't have access to the device you used when you set up two-step verification, see Cancel two-step verification and follow the steps under I don't have access to that device (or a backup).
  1. Follow the steps in Cancel two-step verification to delete the existing number.
  2. Follow the steps in Enable two-step verification to add your new number.
